The Logistics Department at A.S Bryden covers freight movement into and out of Trinidad, i.e. shipping, Customs, insurance coverage and transport to our warehouse.  Managing the inventory, customs and documentation for bonded activity also falls under the Logistics umbrella.

Our contribution to the company’s vision to be a world class distributor is to make our spectrum of quality brands readily available for distribution to our valuable customers.  Providing timely, accurate and complete information to our internal and external customers is the driving force propelling our actions to attain excellence in our daily operations.

There are four shipping coordinators each of whom is assigned to provide specialized services to a particular division.  Altogether they encompass 30 years of combined experience in various freight related fields in the industry.  We have recently implemented additional security procedures involving GPS technology to monitor the shipments’ movement from the port to our facility.  On average 80 shipments are cleared on a monthly basis.  Our synchronized efforts strive to attain clearing times within 5 days of vessel’s arrival.  Through our network capabilities and developed relationships with the various authorities our goals are made easier to achieve despite the challenges of environment. 

The bond service providers comprise Grade II Customs Clerks, Data Processing clerks and Bond Administrators who expedite the complex customs processes to facilitate duty free deliveries and bond transfers.  Our customer base includes the various Embassies, Diplomats, Consulates, Honorary Consulates, Office of the President and all the In-bond Duty Free Shops.

This team of professionals is supervised by the Logistics Manager who offers twelve years of experience, resourcefulness and structure in a turbulent and demanding environment.
